I had to buy this hot little gem of a guitar.

She is Cherry Burst Stratocaster , Rose wood finger board, Alder body with the new floating tremble-low system and minty green tinted white pick-ups and pick guard. Also has the over sized vintage head stock.

I spent about 1 hour playing Stevie Ray Vaughn Strat $1500., Eric Johnson Strat $1750.00 , Eric Clapton Strat 1500.00 , New USA made strats $1000.00, and Mexican standard strats $400-$600.

At the same time I held tight to the $200.00 Squire as I was test driving and switching back between guitars.

I could not believe that this $200 Squire played and sounded just as good as the USA and better than The Mexican standards.

The Eric Clapton model was the worst of them all.

Eric Johnson Strat was the best, next the SRV Strat.

USA Strats (I played) had good necks but would not stay in tune.

The China made Squire Standard Strat is an excellent guitar.

I plays and sounds like an standard Strat from the 1960's.

It has great blues tones and surfer tones.

When I play this China Made squire Stratocaster thru my Fender Hot Rod De-ville it sound like a million bucks.

I feel like I own an American made Strat.

I play a Washburn P4. I also have a mexican made squire strat from around 1993. I don't play the strat so much in church anymore because of the noise in the pickups but I love that little guitar.

Oh go on and buy something like a Gibson ES-175 and put some big strings with a wound third on it and learn to play like Merle Travis.
Check out Merle Travis and Joe Maphis videos on you-tube.
