The link has a story about Obama's church having published some literature of Hamas (the guys who blow up themselves and as many innocent children or bystandards as possible) in Israel. Make your own observations.

Of the 3 politicians to choose from at the moment, I like Obama the best, but because of all the things surronding him there is no way I can vote for him. Surely not everything is true, but certainly it not all false either, and its not like he is not aware of at least some of these things. I think we are going to get John MCCain and hope to get past the next 4 years. What a shame that there is not even 1 good choice.

I also wonder why its okay that obama is linked to this 9-11 stuff (through his pastor), yet Ron Paul was misreprested and it badly hurt his presendential(sp) campaign badly.

The Chicago Church that Obama is a part of is a part of a group (some of them say the holocaust did not happen) that makes Israel an aggressor and the "Palestinians' the victims who really should be given the land. Jimmy Carter is part of this group. So is the president of Iran.

I was listening to Sean Hannity yesterday and there seems to be many linked to Obama who espouse the black liberation theology...I do not remember the name of the man that is linked to Obama but there was a recording of this man saying that what happened to the Black community is worse than any holocaust the Jews experienced.--I was shocked!

I have a question. Did I miss something or or wasn't the slave trade feed by Africans selling other Africans to the slave traders? What was done to the African slaves was wrong. The problem is that is was not an all white thing. Nor was it brought onto them by just Americans or English. The tribes were all fighting against each other and one tribe would take prisoners they would capture from another tribe and sell them to the whites as slaves. If I remember correctly they would sell to anyone and it went on for hundreds of years before the Europeans ever arrived.
Their current history isn't any better over there.
Maybe what happened to them was just as bad if not worse but it was also done as much if not more so by their own people than by the Americans and Europeans.

I am really disappointed, saddened. He has become so unelectable so quickly, WOW! This gives the neo-cons ammo to connect Obama to Hamas in the minds of the not-so-discerning.

One of the largest slave owners in the south was black and yes it was the blacks who sold their fellow blacks into slavery. Slavery was not good but looking at it in another angle Many blacks today may still be starving in Africa if their ancestors had not been sold into slavery. My ancestors were apparently French Christians who had to flee France, I'm not complaining I'd much rather be in America than in France.:bliss It's always possible to look on the bright side of things.

If any connection between Barak Obama and Hamas could be made it would literally be all over the news. I don't believe it one bit.

I would have to say I agree with you on that.

They cant seriously say he's connected to Hamas.
But they can say he is clearly connected to someone who is sympathetic to Hamas.

That by itself is damaging enough.
The die-hard Obama folks will brush this off, but this could cause him to lose more moderates, independents, and undecideds.

I doubt it. He just scored a major endorsement from a governor. I think it was Governor Richards.

Indeed.
But despite that Richardson's endorsement, its a fact that his pastor posted a Hamas document in the church's newsletter.

Nothing positive can come out of that. It can only hurt.

Its not going to be as big a deal as the pastor's sermons we've been hearing about, but for some people who've been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, this is something that might make them convinced that he's just got too much baggage.

Either way, it may not matter.
I think McCain is going to win anyway.

McCain may win against Hillary, but I don't think he stands a chance against Obama. People in this country are sick of the same old same old and are ready for a change.

By the way, Hillary came to the Evansville area. I didn't hear everything she said, but I did hear her talking about our dependance on foreign oil. She went on an on about how we're too dependant on foreign sources of oil and how she promises to break that dependance. She conveniently forgot to mention that a big part of the reason why we are so dependant on foreign oil is because of liberals like her who stand in the way any time someone brings up tapping into our own oil resources because owls and other furry creatures are more important.

Personally I think we could open a few more regions for drilling. But more importantly we need to begin investing efficient fuel burning technologies and nuclear power. I don't think it's wise to continue down the path we're on. We need to become more "conservative" when it comes to energy policy.
