This only happens on this site. I'm on another Forum and it never happens. No it's not the Preacher's only forum. :ursofunny

I try to post or respond and nothing will load and the message comes up - Session is Timed out.

That is so aggravating. Is God trying to tell me something? :ursofunny:ursofunny

Don't you check the "remember me" box when you sign in?

That will keep you logged on.

Is that why it does that? I don't check the "remember me" on the other forum and it never times me out.

It's the way they have their forum set up.

Oh, well thanks! I'll check the "remember me" after this.

Timing out on the forum has nothing to do with the 'remember me' box. It's a server issue. Happens to me often and I always check the box.

We get something similar here too. I just go back to the last page and try again usually works. Though it's very frustrating. :(

It also depends on what your setting are on your browser when you exit....even if you click the remember me box...if your settings are to remove all passwords, temp files, cache...etc., then it will also not "remember" you even if you do click the box. I use firefox and you usually get a dialog box when you close the browser. It gives you options there as to what you want to remove at exit..other browsers usually have in the option tab.

I do use Firefox, but I don't get a dialog box when I close the browser. Hmmmmm.
