Margie's recipe...PO posted on another thread.
Slushy Punch
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. water
Boil and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add
1 12 oz. can frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
1 12 oz. can frozen Lemonade Concentrate
1 46 oz. can pineapple juice
3 c. cold water
Stir until the frozen juices are dissolved. Then pour into cake pans or other shallow pans. Freeze overnight. When frozen, cut into chunks and put into gallon ziplock bags.
When ready to use, put the chunks into a large (2 gallon) punch bowl. Pour 2 2 liter bottles of 7-Up or Sprite over the frozen chunks. Stir until the chunks break up and mix with the pop. It will look like frozen applesauce. Tastes yummy.
Margie,
Just wanted you to know that everyone LOVED your punch recipe!!!! I skipped freezing it in cake pans and put it directly into quart size freezer bags which I filled half way full. When I poured the 7-UP over the frozen chunks, I broke them up with an ice pick - worked perfect.
I poured the punch at 3:00, we played four games and the punch was ready! So, easy!!! I can't thank you enough!!!

A punch I like to make may not be as fancy as the one you described (with ice cream and all) but I love it. Make ice cubes out of pineapple juice and add to a punch bowl of sprite. Simple. Gives it a really "tropical" taste when the cubes start to melt. And (for all of my occassions) it wont stain if someone spills it on the carpet. (Probably not an issue at a wedding).
Its cheap and yummy.

I used this for my parent's 50th anniversary and several times since.
It's very simple and everyone loves it. Doesn't go with your color scheme, but not sure the punch has to "match".
Not sure you have Big K soda (Kroger brand) in Texas either.
Freeze 2 liter Pineapple Soda (Big K)
Mix 2 liter Ginger ale
Looks classy in a light gold color, it's slushy and taste very good.

The only place we have found the raspberry/cranberry concentrate is at Kroger's. But you might find it somewhere else near you.

For every 2 cups of concentrate add a 2 liter lemon lime or sprit.

this punch seems like it would be perfect with that idea. I've always seen a 32 oz can of pineapple juice, jug Hawaiian punch, 2 liter of soda, 1/2 gallon ice cream. And sometimes I've seen Koolaid instead of Hawaiian punch. Its ok, but these sound MUCH better!
