Hi Will, and welcome. If I may ask, are you a member of Bro. Carney's church Woodlawn, or a member of Bro. Marvin Terrell's church at Foxworth?

Helloooo Will
That's almost home to me, :) My mother lives in Franklinton, La. where I grew up. Had a business in Bogalusa where my children grew up. Both graduated from USM. My son lives and works in Hattiesburg.
Hey, don't you live just down the road from Brett Farve.
Sounds like you will enjoy this board.
Many blessings.
Welcome to the Group.
Don't let us scare you off.
We're not all as mean as we sometimes appear to be in our posts.

Hey girl, been missing you lots......Would love to see ya and even that husband of yours........lol
I was just thinking about Bogalusa, Louisiana and Mt. Olive, Mississippi the other day. Two precious women of God from there, my Mother and my Grandmother. I miss them both.
Much love and hugs to you girlfriend.

The church in Foxworth is not too far from your church my wife informs me.When our church went to Impact the pastor drove them by the church in Foxworth.

yeah their music is awesome...and I dont say that in a snooty way...I'm not originally from there. Moved from Louisiana to here when I was a kid then moved back after 6 months then came back like 2 years ago.

I have no problem with strict standards. I was raised in church and my pastor was so strict they called us Johnsonites after my pastors last name. I have been connected to and visited many different churches and groups. I just think its like Jesus said to the pharisee's that you can tithe in cumin and anise but neglect the weightier matters of the law.

Yeah...Bro. Terril is great. Never heard him in person but my wife and mom and dad have.

About standards...I used to be one to put others under the microscope and if they differed in belief from what I had been taught it was open season...in reality even though I had been raised in church I had no idea what I believed. It wasnt until God started showing me how imperfect I was that I stopped judging.
