I did the upgrade and then found it installed RAID by default.
When I removed mdadm, it also removed LVM2 and I am using a 200 Gig Drive.

I am downloading a disk incase it will not reboot.

If it ain't broke- fix it!

Got mine working finally thanks to a little help from BOOMM! Complete with Beryl which is really cool.

The Nvidia drivers were a big challenge but thanks to BOOMM and some software called Envy I finally got that sorted out... (tip for others, once you get that video working right, make a copy of the conf file in case you break it later... I'm sure I will break mine again soon!

Running an:

Asus P4S800 MB with 3 gig Pentium 4 processor
1 Gig ram
80 gig SATA hard drive
Nvidia Geforce 4 graphics card

I'd still like to be able to map a drive letter to my Windows shares which are accessible through Samba and it looks like one of my printers is just completely incompatible with Linux but other than that I am up and running. Secondlife even works fine on this pc!
