Is he raising more money now that Obama is the nominee? Why the sudden interest in funding the McKain flip flopper campaign?

I have no enemies ... I think.

I guess my attempt at humor misfired. I was talking about folks on AFF sending money to JM to help turn you into a false prophet so they could stone you.

Ha! Hillary is page 3 news since Obama won that endorsement from John Edwards. In fact, he has moved from discussing differences with her to going after McCain and Bush. Even McCain is pretty much ignoring Hillary. She needs to do the right thing and find a way to make a graceful exit from this campaign, while she still has the chance.

I have been wondering about this and ran across what was going on that day. It appears that you are right, Baron!

Media ignores Obama concert negatives

At least some members of the much-touted crowd of 75,000 people at a May 18 rally in Portland for Barack Obama may have been there, in part, to see a popular local band that normally opens its concerts with the national anthem -- of the former Soviet Union.

"The rally drew 75,000 people, but the media did not give any credit to the opening act, The Decemberists, who are wildly popular in Portland," says Robert Knight, director of the Culture and Media Institute of the Media Research Center. "I'm not saying that Obama wouldn't have drawn a big crowd, but certainly when you have a band that popular opening for him on a beautiful day, that probably should have been mentioned ."

[B]By not mentioning the band, Knight says, the media has been able to avoid a well-known fact about The Decemberists. "You'd think the media would find it interesting that a presidential candidate had a band open for him that typically plays the Soviet national anthem, the song that celebrates communism in Russia," Knight says. "But the media has taken no interest in it."

McCain ain't gonna get these crowds, sheesh, U2 barely gets them!!!!

Wow, these Obama crowds are amazing to look at, he has hit a nerve in the U.S.

He has chraisma, a great speaking style and does draw great crowds.

However, when all of the press coverd the huge 75-80,000 person crowd in either Washington or Orgegon not long ago they failed to mention that the event was also a free rock concert and that is what some of hose folks were there for.

That is not to take away from his drawing power though. McCain is a 70 someting old geezer who has a lot of experience but has no real fan base. Real Republicans despise him as being more of a Democrat that Republican in many of his views. His only real contituency was the liberal media who always loved him but of course will turn on him in a minute for a liberal Democrat.

McCains only hope is that enough independents will be freaked out over Obama's ultra left wing radical associations and lack of experience that they will vote for him along with disgruntled Hillary supporters. Otherwise he is toast.
