I have only heard a few of his sermons. I will hear him preach this weekend... He is very passionate about bringing the generations together... Turning the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers... awesome ministry

Do you believe an Apostolic could participate/join in with something like this?
Or would that be considered yoking together with unbelievers?
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

I believe that they are saved... If the apostolic church had a movement like this for young people, I would love to be a part of it, this is a call to ALL denominations to come together and pray and fast.
Mat 12:30 The one who is not with Me is against Me, and the one who does not gather with Me scatters.
Mat 12:33 Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree corrupt and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit.
In my opinion we ARE on the same team... I am happy for me and my son to be a part of it...

Well I guess the fact that my son was praying with a group of Trinitarians when he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost says somthing about working together.

Most of the people involved in the Call are tremendous people. I have not been to a Call, but have watched them on GodTv when they air them. Lou Engle is a dynamic man of God. I would not be far off by saying that this man might out pray any single person in America. Not sure if Lou is the one in the video cause the videos don't play on my work PC. But if they are I will assure you there is A LOT of knowledge and wisdom pouring out of that man. He is at the top of the list of men I would list as 'being holy'. Great man!

Well, if he was praying with Trinitarians, he must have received "another spirit" (2 Corinthians 11:4) and not the REAL Holy Ghost. That would be the thinking of some, possibly even some on this forum.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6)

:evilglee Sam, you are such a pot-stirrer!
Well this SAME spirit has made a 15 year old boy become even more hungry for God, so if it the OTHER spirit, why does he want to get closer to God?
You are so funny!

Would this be the same "another spirit" that all the first generation Oneness Pentecostals were filled with while praying with Trinitarians?
Dr. Segraves once told his class you should never attribute the works of God to the devil, when someone is praying to God for His Spirit, His word says they will get that Spirit, not a stone in place of bread, and not another spirit in place of the Holy Spirit.
I know you are just being facetious but I figured I would throw that out there anyway.

I'm glad you guys didn't take me seriously.
Yes, I believe many, many folks have received the Holy Ghost Baptism and have never been baptized in Jesus' Name. Many of them remain with their religious denominations and become better Roman Catholics, Baptists, etc.

I have to be honest, I did at first... and then my wonderful hubby set me straight!
I am excited there is another AFFer that will be there, but I would hate to mention her or his name in case they get busted by the UC police! :ursofunny
So I get to meet one at The Call and another in October... I love it!!!
PS: I will try to post some pics next week
But I will warn you... The images you see may be disturbing...
There could be trinitarians speaking in tongues!
Or women in pants praying....

That can't happen, that is an oxymoron.

I will not be going to Wasington DC for the call.
There is bus service from Cincinnati but I don't want to sleep all night on the bus and then spend the day there and then sleep on the bus on the way home. It just doesn't sound like fun to a 70 year old man.
I attend a weekly prayer meeting at a Vineyard Church and another weekly prayer meeting at a Presbyterian Church. I'm also involved with FGBMFI. I am around folks who speak with tongues in all these meetings. The Holy Ghost Baptism is available for anyone who wants to receive this experience. God does not hold us to any specific organization or theological system. If we hunger and thirst after righteousness He will fill us and meet any need. The doctrinal hangups are completely from the human (carnal) side. God ignores our little theological cliques and the walls we erect.

I went to "The Call" in Nashville last year, led by Lou Engles. It was on 7-7-07 and it was amazing! The worship and the praying was so heartfelt and passionate. They had people leading prayer times who had gone through abortions, all kinds of sexual perversions, racist activities, etc. who got up and publicly repented as they told their stories and then led in prayer. There wasn't a dry eye in the place that I could see. It was powerful!

That's awesome!
We are excited... We haven't gone to a conference of any kind since General Conference in Richmond.
The dress code will be a little different here, but I am sure the worship and prayer will be the same!

It was all I could do to sit in my seat and not run down there and join them, but I'm way to old to run anywhere. LOL!

Oh it's no problem, I just read that they do not release the name of the speakers and bands because they want it to be completely prayer and fasting-driven. They don't want people showing up to get entertained, they want people to come to pray... interesting philosophy!
