is there anyone that can relate to me????

I can't be the only person going through this? I am asking is it God or me. Most of you that read this would say it's me. I would agree. I am starting over again after sin. I am finding it hard each day to be with or easy to be without church people. I find it easier to be with outside people. who said that it is easy to live with christian people.

most likely the person that said it, is an atheist.

I am praying. but this time it is taking longer to come to terms and accept.

any thoughts????

You are not alone. It is very hard to be with or get along with "Christian" people. They are rude, arrogant, self righteous, petty, extreme, and deliberate. They don't want to let anyone else in. It is their world and somehow it is marred by you. They live in a bubble, full of artificial air, and an anticeptic society. It a real germ ever made it in the world they created, it would crumble.

It is easier to fit in with sinners/real people in the REAL world because they know how weak and powerless they are and they understand mistakes, an debilitating situations out of their control...and they forgive you for being human. But they accept you as a sinner and won't accept you as a "God person". They prefer you stay a sinner as they are.

What you need to do is find a group of saints who are "God's People". They belong in the city of God. This city is filled with forgiven, blood bought, and blood washed people who have nailed their sins to the cross, and, those sins are covered by the blood of the Lamb. They have room for as many as God would save regardless of past sin or weight...they know that everyone is levelled at the foot of the cross. They don't try to pretend they are perfect or without sin. They know just how you feel even though it is said in a whisper.

Just one of God's people who is as imperfect as you are:friend

You are using a very very broad brush in your first paragraph. You can put any group of people in the " " and there will be those that fit that bill.


A real "Christian" loves at all times. Find some real Christ like folks to hang with. Remember the Word says "To have friends one must show them self friendly" and Jesus said "Treat others like you want to be treated" [Weaver paraphrase]


I have seen and experienced the full spectrum of "Church" folks, ignore the hurtful, hold to the helpful. Folks is folks and no matter the group you'll come across the good, the bad and the indifferent.

Let the Love of Christ be your rock and foundation, not the emotions or treatment of others.
