From AOL news...
Reba McEntire the country star who always professed a Christian faith now believes in reincarnation. She says she believes she was a man before in this life and that she spent time with her son Shelby somewhere in the past.
Of course she offers no proof, this is just the way she feels. She thinks she will be criticized by Christians for her beliefs now.
She says she guess' s she is part Buddhist

This part of the interview she gave.
Although Reba McEntire fears that fellow Christians might criticize her for it, the singer says she believe she's been reincarnated.
"I believe I've gone both ways -- that I have been here before as a man," the 53-year-old (in this life, anyway) tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "I believe I have spent time with my son Shelby before. I believe I have spent time with other people in my life before. Who knows? Maybe I'm part Buddhist."
As for reconciling her Christian faith with her belief in reincarnation, McEntire says, "I'm sorry, but this is how I live my life, this is what I believe."

You heard what happens when they play those country songs backwards and here it is. The man she was before chanted as a monk.

This is what happens when you run with a mostly Godless, pagan crowd in Hollywood, which is where she spends most of her time now because of her sitcom. Like Lot's family Sodom has contaminated her. She says she guess' s she is part Buddhist now.

I believed in reincarnation for a long time..
To be *completely* honest..it's one of those things I just don't think on right now. I know what sort of experiences I've had that convinced me in the first place (yep..all feeling...but how is that different from Christianity really?) and I'm not sure how to reconcile them right now. So I just kind of avoid them.

How can your belief in reincarnation possibly coexist with Biblical Christianity?

It's been a journey to where I am, and the journey continues.
I know they can't really coexist, so I avoid the whole thing right now. It'll sort itself out somehow.

2 Tim 4:3-4: " 3For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts; 4and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside unto fables. "
Part Christian, part Buddhist, huh?
Craziness. You cant mix truth with error... although some people try.
I wonder if there's been some demonic encounters somewhere that contributed to this new "revelation" she's gotten.

Wrong religion. Muslims don't believe in reincarnation. ;)

I find this comment puzzling, to put it mildly.
When you received the Holy Ghost speaking with tongues (assuming that you did) or when you've spoken in tongues after that (assuming that you have)... do you considdeer that to be a real experience from God?...or do you consider it just "all feeling"?

And I find it puzzling that you find it puzzling.
And before I begin, let me make it very, very clear that I have no problem with spirituality being based off of a feeling...because, as you'll see by the time I'm done, I don't see how it's possible to separate feeling and spirituality *at all*.
If not a feeling, then what do you base your relationship with God on? Intellectualism only gets you so far. And even if you know every word the Bible says and can quote it and are properly trained to interpret it, it's all words and only words. Whether or not you consider the Bible to be infallible, there is always the possibility, from a purely intellectual standpoint, that it's NOT. It's a book, whether inspired by God or not, that's written by men and copied by men and translated by men and... So you can feel that it's infallible, and base decisions off of that, but that's a feeling. Or you can feel that it's not and base decisions off of that, but again, that's a feeling.
I would be interested in knowing if there's something other than feeling that anyone has actually based their beliefs off of. Like I said above, whether or not you believe the Bible is infallible, is based on a feeling.
As for being baptized in the Holy Spirit..how can you deny that's feeling based..? What else could it be? Whether it's a real experience with God or not is a separate question completely.

Well, that was my question to you... which you really didn't answer.
Is it so hard to answer "yes" (assuming you think it's a "yes")? It wasn't a hard question at all. Anyway...
------------
If you don't feel like answering, for whatever reason, that's fine. But what's odd is that you gave me this long-winded answer that totally side-stepped my question.
Then again, maybe if you were to answer the question honestly, you'd say something you might regret before God. So... never mind. Consider the issue dropped.

I really don't have any worries about offending God..lol Trust me on that one..if I'm not struck with any lightening bolt by now I won't be.
I don't know if I think it's a real experience with God or not. Real? Sure. With God? I dunno. I used to speak in tongues..I don't now. I don't really feel (lol) like I'm missing anything as far as relationship with God goes. Not that speaking in tongues would make any difference with at least.

SW,
Her sitcom ended production a couple of years ago. There are only syndicated reruns showing now.
She has been in the entertainment business a long tme with a lot of "Hollywood" type friends way before she ever did that sitcom.
Country Music has a reputation of being rural and Christian but many of the artists are wacko. For years I have read about Lortetta Lynn believing in reincarnation and other werid stuff that is not Christian.
