This is an interesting article about the strain between the McCain and Palin factions. She's gone off message several times, and now a McCain aide is claiming it may have been intentional.

It sounds like the fingerpointing and fireworks may have already begun. I bet that is one decision McCain wishes he could get a do-over on in hindsight.

She hasn't gone off point nearly as much as Joe Biden. LOL! But I'm sure that a bid for 2012 isn't out of the question for SP, no matter which way the election goes.

I predict we will never hear of her again if Republicans lose.

Off subject- what's Dan Quayle been up to since he was VP?

I was thinking about ole Dan(e) Quayl(e) the other day. I mean the guy hardly ever grants an interview that I see and has pretty much dropped out of the public eye.

I think the Republican party has a lot of soul searching to do over the next 3 years or so. I think we're going to see a battle for the soul of the party. The lines are already drawn with the NeoCon/Extreme Right Wing faction joining up with Palin and the Mitt Romney faction who don't believe the Republican base is enough to win elections anymore and that the Republican party is going to have to be more centrists in their approaches.

I predict it will be a Battle Royale and be very interesting to watch.

Wassup Mike!!

This seems to be an example of the dog biting the hand that feeds her.

If they lose, SHE will never be trusted as a running mate, ever again, if this is true.

So she had better get the GOP nomination, keep her own record clean for the next four or 8 years.

But if she is deemed to not be a "team player", it will be very difficult for her to get the GOP's nod, ever. The GOP is all about the team and protecting each other.
