What is it with husbands?!? Mine does the same thing. And, I found out he told my two oldest kids what their big present was this year. When I asked why, he said he wanted to be sure they would like it. I told him it was a little late because that's what they are getting. Is it a lie to tell him that I got our daughter a fur coat when I really got her a pair of boots? I did that last year and he told her, "you are getting something with fur on it." :gift:gift
This would be a good opportunity to get some gag gifts to fool them with at first, and then the real presents..........:gift

I did that last year. My daughter had been begging for a certain handbag. I wrapped up an old handbag of mine and she was so excited when she unwrapped it and saw the box. She wasn't nearly as happy when she opened the box and saw my beat up old purse.

I have snowmen everywhere!!! LOL My kitchen is the cutest bunch of snowmen designed stuff... it all came from Cracker Barrel last year... I bought the whole set of it.
yes, you do need to frame that... I bet it is pretty.
FB,
Here's my snowpeople I need to have framed - one of these days. LOL! I loved working on them. Like I said, it took me a year. LOL! The snowman holding the vacancy sign has some spots on the cross-stitch fabric. I don't know what happened here or if I can fix it or not.

I still don't have my presents purchased. Well, one for my husband. I never put his out because he picks up the box, holds it, shakes it and tells you what is in it - and he is always right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arghhhhhh!!! He thinks he is so funny and clever - I want to clobber him!! The kids go, "DAD!!!!!!!" :toofunny
Oh man, my mom has that talent. It's really spooky, sometimes. Once, someone at work just described one of her wrapped gifts to her, and she guessed it right!
And one of my sons must have inherited this ability from grandma. Picked up a cube-shaped gift. Thought for a second, and said "hockey puck?" Dropped jaws all around. :jolly

Thanks, FB. If I start a project and feel that I am going downhill on it and not giving it my best, I stop, take a break and pick it up later. That's why it took me a year to finish the snowmen. lol

Thanks, Mrs.McD! I loved the colors and just had to make them.
Do you have any idea why the one piece of cross-stitch would get those spots while the others don't have them? I kept them stored together, so I am at a loss as to what happened.

That is weird. It almost looks as if something like coffee got splattered on it but you would have noticed that before storing them. I don't know.

You actually can't do anything when you cross-stitch, except to cross-stitch - both hands are totally occupied. LOL!

I don't have my presents under the tree either - because I've only purchased one! LOL!
I have my pictures in photobucket and then put the link here. That gives you a bigger picture.

To do it this way you just type in your message and then go down to the bottom of the page where it says manage attachments and click that. It takes you to a place to browse and you just go into "my pictures" and click on the photo you want and hit upload. It's easy, but I don't really like them not showing up on here. I always ask Renda or The Mrs. to enlarge them for me. Ha!
