It is amazing that I understand it all
considering I speak a different form of the french language.That tells you for sure its all the same.Salutations as well and as for the long live Canada post hey.....thats over the top but then the French do exaggerate alot.lol..

Yes you are trying ,don't worry about it even some french do not use the "subjunctive tense of the verb" even though it is the proper tense in this case.

Est-ce que n'importe qui se rappelle que la Louisiane avait un Campmeeting français ? Tristement le son mort au-dessus du years.I toujours avait espéré un retour.

Sad they no longer have it ,a good pastor friend of mine came from Louisiana ,he now pastors in Canada,and yes he is French speaking.

no but I had hoped that over the last seven years of living there they would have gotten it going again.There were some real awesome moves of God and
many pioneer preachers of that area planted churches.French is still the language of choice among the Acadian's in La.(South of I-10,West of N.O.,East of Lake Charles known as Acadiana)

Glad to hear that they are retaining their french is still their language of choice!
maybe if Canada breaks up NewBrunswick could join with Louisiana and form a SUPER STATE! Acadiana sounds great!:grampa

There are actually alot of twinned cities in Louisiana.Kaplan,La was twinned with a city in Nova Scotia.Abbeville was twinned with Abbeville,France.
