Ask yourself what a Christmas tree is and you will think about it forever. What is the difference between a regular tree and a Christmas tree? A tree is just a tree until you decorate it. The Christmas tree reminds me of Christ and this is why my family has a Christmas tree every year.

The tree itself represents the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And the lights represent the light of our Saviour Jesus Christ. The garland represents the arms of Jesus wrapping around His bride. The ornaments represent the forbidden fruits of good and evil. The candy canes represent the simple plan of salvation. The angel or star topper represents the host of angels or the Star of Bethlehem. The skirt represents the spotless robe of righteousness. Those gifts represent what Jesus gave so we can have Christmas.

Maybe your beliefs are different or somewhat traditional. You can’t take away the true meaning of Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season. We celebrate His special birth so let’s give Him the honor and glory He deserves. If you don’t know this loving saviour, I encourage you to find an altar and repent of your sins, be baptized in Jesus Name, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The plan of salvation is as simple as that candy cane on your tree. Give Jesus a try… He won’t fail! Have a blessed and Merry Christmas!

Its just a tradition to me, nothing more nothing less. Doesn't make my day one way or another.
