View Full Version : Why do threads mark themselves as 'read'

when I haven't read them?
It seems that threads are marking themselves read after I visit the forum, even if I haven't opened those threads.
Or, if I hit the 'view first unread' button in a thread, it will take me to new posts that have posted since I was last in the forum, not new posts that posted after the last time I opened that particular thread.
Is there a way to change that?

I have the opposite problem. Threads are marked unread, even if I've already read them (over and over and over again! :lol).

You nod to Ameko worriedly, "Yeah... well, see.. I'm already paying skotos to play my favorite games. I don't think I can commit to paying someone else to play their game. Also, I really hate doing stuff like committing to projects, or signing non-disclosure agreements.".
