Rather than start a bunch of new threads when someone may be interested in a church in a particular area I thought I would start one here. It is something a person would be currently interested in. =)

SO
I will start it off. I am interested in a church in the Cape Coral/ Ft Myers, FL area. Now for me you need to know that I am not interested in just if it is UPC, WPF, ALJC, AAFCJ, PAW, etc etc
I am interested if anyone knows a standout, powerful, dynamic church in that area. Would love to be able to visit them when I am over in that area. Which I hope to be very soon.

Please if you know of one let me know.

So I take it no one knows of any 'on fire' churches in Cape Coral/Ft Myers FL area.

Is it inappropriate to pray for God to destroy this church?

Is it (my desire for this church's complete destruction) sinful?

Isn't their existence sinful?

I saw some people on the side of the road one Sunday on the way to church and I pulled over to help them.

Before I was done, I realized they were jehovah's witnesses.

I wished I hadn't stop to help them. I don't like assisting, encouraging and especially hepling them and mormons.

I would place this UUC church in the same category or maybe even beneath the jw's and mormons.

Am I wrong?

I think you are wrong, but what God thinks is more important than what I think. Back to what I think....

I think that when God says we should love our enemies, that He means just that. I would help anyone in need, because I think Jesus would help anyone in need. Who's to say that you might not develop a relationship with someone from an experience like that and they come to know Jesus?

Helping the people I don't equate as helping their church. I do understand you opinions though. God will honor the good you do even if it is for a bad, or misdirected, person. At least that is my opinion of it.

. . .

Appropriate or not, go ahead. God probably won't obey you, anyway. :heeheehee
