The “Ancient Hebrew Lexicon of the Bible” Module for E-Sword is now available at http://www.ancient-hebrew.org/bookstore/ahlb_e-sword.html. This module would not have been available if it was not for the efforts of Richard Varno who has devoted his own time to create put it together, thank you Richard. If you’re not familiar with E-Sword it is a free Bible Software program you can download onto your computer and is great for serious studies of the Bible. You can go to their website at http://www.e-sword.com to download the program. Also available at their website are other modules including the Greek and Hebrew text, various translations and other dictionaries and lexicons. If you’re not familiar with the “Ancient Hebrew Lexicon of the Bible” you can read more about it at http://ahlb.ancient-hebrew.org.

The KDE version is called BibleTime.

The Gnome Version is called GnomeSword

The Palm Version is called PalmBible

Not all modules translate easily. What would make this module stand out from other Hebrew lexicons?

I couldn't get it to download for me, so I haven't totally reviewed it. I just read a lot on the website Forum and I like them. When they sent me the e-mail I had confidence they knew what they were talking about.

I then passed on the info for anyone interested since a lot of people use e-sword.

Download worked for me. About the middle of the page is the download link. Be sure to download the fonts as well and install then to c:/windows/fonts/

I believe its already posted in Deep Waters.We also have some links there for other things like the workbook.Prax can tell you how to add it to your esword it was tricky.

Just make sure the file (ending in .dct, .not, .bbl, .cmt) is saved into c:\program files\e-sword and it will work fine. Also, make sure e-sword is not running when you do copy the file into the directory.
