I do not agree. To say that any revival is exclusively among one race or another is nuts...that includes Chrisma too.

Some of the greatest moves of God - revivals if you want to use that term - that have taken place in my lifetime have occurred among people of other races i.e. China, and other parts of Asia such as the Philippines, Korea parts of Indonesia and then on other continents like parts of Africa, Central America, & South America.

God is no respecter of persons the Scripture says and so He won't withhold or pour out His Spirit based on nationality and skin colour. It's just that there are times and seasons in the plan of God and just because what has happened in some places on the globe hasn't happened here doesn't mean it won't.

We don't always know what all God is doing anyhow and oftentimes aren't willing to accept what He's doing either.

I disagree...sort of. I think there is a great revival coming to America but I think it will be in places like Baptist churchs.


back home, the baptist church where my baptist family goes, has gotten real antimated with their worship. I accused them of being Bapticostal and they agreed!

I would not be supprised if the whole church gets the holy ghost.

How can a person be hungry if they're in darkness? God draws people to Himself because He loves them and He wants them to be saved. It's not hunger necessarily that preempts "revival" as we call it.

When God made Himself known to me it wasn't because of hunger or seeking after Him. A person can't do that when they're spiritually dead.

Thinking about this just reminds me all over again at the greatness and awesomeness of God's love, mercy and grace.

God CALLS us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

i do believe that God will pour His spirit out on ALL flesh..... regardless of color, I don't see how Charisma can get this kind of prediction.

I think they just had some speaker in Dallas do a teaching on it?

I will say, here in the west, most of the TRUE growing churches are Hispanics HANDS DOWN.

the traditional UPC churches that are seeing growth are nothing more then recycled saints that are 4th generation - & will not take that back either.

Some of the southern Baptists have already changed their official stance on tongues. I am ready for a shake down in the Baptist denomination. I grew up in it and love my heritage, but I am waiting with aniticipation to see what God is going to do in the Baptist people in our area. I love to see God show what He can do!!

I didnt like the article he wrote about Oneness Pentecostals back in the 90s he was very unfair. However, he has been writing some scathing articles against charismatic excess and sin the last year that have been excellent!

I will further say I do not see the spiritual hunger amongst Us white folks as I do the minorities. Whites are increased with goods and have need of little for the most part .

I agree. in fact, there was a recent poll out that says nationwide, only 18.9% of whites in America are attending church. it's a little higher in the south of course. however, it is Dramatically higher amongst blacks and hispanics

No, it's something my father and I were sharing over a year ago. He believes the "last days" revival will be a very quick work, and He would do it in a way that no one but Him would get glory for it. And I said in order for it to be like that, it may be God opening the eyes of entire denominal churches. That way it would be quick and no one could claim the glory for it.
