Ok, this just gets me....Christians are being tortured, raped, killed...having their homes taken or destroyed by fire BY Muslims in many places. In others it's illegal to have church services and if you do you can be imprisoned or killed....is this happening to Muslims all over?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The gravest terrorist threat in the world today is Islamophobia, foreign ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference said this week.
“It is something that has assumed xenophobic proportions,” they said.
The ministers described Islamophobia as a deliberate defamation of Islam (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,273312,00.html#) and discrimination and intolerance against Muslims. They accused Western media of misrepresenting Islam and Muslims worldwide, according to a report in Arab News.
“The linkage of terrorists and extremists with Islam in a generalized manner is unacceptable," the ministers said.
Click here to read the full report in Arab News. (http://arabnews.com/?page=4§ion=0&article=96276&d=17&m=5&y=2007)
"The increasingly negative political and media discourse targeting Muslims and Islam in the United States (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,273312,00.html#) and Europe has made things all the more difficult," the foreign ministers said, according to the report.
“This campaign of calumny against Muslims resulted in the publication of the blasphemous cartoons depicting Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in a Danish newspaper and the issuance of the inflammatory statement by Pope Benedict XVI (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,273312,00.html#),” the ministers said.
The ministers said the Islamophobic terror threat predates this decade, but worsened on Sept. 11, 2001.
“Islamophobia became a source of concern, especially after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, but the phenomenon was already there in Western societies in one form or the other," they said.
“It gained further momentum after the Madrid and London bombings. The killing of Dutch film director Theo van Gogh (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,273312,00.html#) in 2004 was used in a wicked manner by certain quarters to stir up a frenzy against Muslims."
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,273312,00.html
Note that last part...stir up a frenzy against muslims? All we saw were Muslims stirred up INTO a frenzy and even threatening the life of those that drew the cartoons.

Here is a link to Dhimmi Watch as well as jihad watch tow sites that offerr incredible up to date news stories chronicling the encroachment of Islamic oppression on the world and on the Christian world in particular. I thought you might find it interesting. The spiritual oppression of Islam is incredible! The effect it has on humanity reducing them from human beings to basic brute beasts is something that has to be seen to be believed. If you try to describe it you merely come across as being an exceptionally biggoted person. However to WATCH it and see the effect it has on the common human being under its sway is startling to say the least!

LOL, in scrolling down your link I caught a glimpse somewhere of something talking about how the olympic games toilet seats have been deliberately turned away from Mecca so not to offend the muslims ! LMAO ...I mean what is this world coming to? what's next? do we have to give up Jesus so that some of them don't feel offended and threatened? I just can't believe this. Here is a link that talks about how Harvard University does now partially operates under the saudis muslim robes and head rags for the millions of $$$ that the upscale university has been getting from them:
just give us money and we'd gladly lay down for you (http://www.investors.com/editorial/editorialcontent.asp?secid=1501&status=article&id=293411200915489)
the muslims know one of the world's including America's weaknesses is cash and they are using it to gain ground. That is outrageous. Britain is partially taken over, mosques are being build everywhere in the US and not the ........ thing is being done about it.
Lord Jesus,
Please protect those of us who want You to rule instead of evil and ignorance. We want Your Light and Love Lord to shine into the rats wholes and scare as well as clear them out of our surrendings. We believe in You Lord. Lord open the world's heart and mind to You and allow them to see and know You Jesus. Lord Jesus, we forgive them their greed and ignorance, and we implore you Lord to use this very forgiveness, as a spiritual gate for our enemies to pass through to come to You Lord, You are the Answer, You are The Way, You are The Truth and You are The Light. Amen.

Questions like that is what is wrong!! Don't get me started. They have one in a town near us, that is where the FBI took a trained terrorist in custody. If he was there I'm not convinced there are not more.. When they allow us to build churches Muslim countries and practice our faith there then it may be OK for them to buid a mosk or two here. These are the people who want to cut the heads off all who don't agree with them.

I always thought America was a land of religious freedoms.
You are generalizing a whole group of people together. The Muslims I've met are no ready to cut off the heads of people than I am.
That is also the kind of attitude that killed a man who looked as if he were from the Middle East at a gas station while he was there pumping gas.

Ah there is a true christian attitude. Sorry don't mean to be derogitive but we are not told in scripture to have that attitude rather we are to turn the other cheek. Penticostals have some of the same attitude towards others that don't beleive as they do. They may not kill them but they condem them to hell if they don't see their interpritation of scriptures. The majority of Muslims are not like you discribe. They are good honest people that truly beleive and live their beleifs. Those that kill and commite suicide are the few not the majority.

Sorry drummer, must disagree.
History has alreay proven you wrong and shall prove you wrong again.
The muslim religion, from it's foundation, is one of violence, as opposed to the Christian one of peace.
Check out some of the modern Christian Martyr websites. The persecution stuff is still going on. It is just in some counties where it is still held in check... probably because of a few rednecks wth guns.:thumbsup
The very idea behind the muslim faith is conversion by force. Always has been, still is, and always will be.
Sorry drummer, check it out, you will find out I am right.

That may be true, but honestly, how many muslims have YOU met that wanted to kill you because you weren't of their religion?
There are quite a few that go to my school and from what I've seen and experienced, they are not at all violent.

Realy now propoganda is a powerful force I see. Not dening what may be found on Christian web sites Christians have been martyred in every country they have gone into with maybe the exception of a few. I don't take my understanding of other religions from what I see on the news but from their own books of scripture the Koran and although it has been awhile and I will reread it and others to check on the basis of their teachings. But regardless we still should not stereotyp everyone that is Muslim on the basis of a few. That is like saying every Christian is judgemental and condeming everyone to hell just because they don't believe the way they do. It hurts me when I hear and see Christians pass judgement on people they don't know based on conjectures and assumtions. Did not Jesus speak these words.:sad:heart
Luk 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Luk 6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
Luk 6:29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.
Luk 6:30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
Luk 6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. Luk 6:32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
Luk 6:33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
Luk 6:34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
Luk 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
Luk 6:36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
Luk 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Note that last part...stir up a frenzy against muslims? All we saw were Muslims stirred up INTO a frenzy and even threatening the life of those that drew the cartoons.
I am curious. Why do you hate so much? Do you even know or have you even met a Muslim or Muslim family? I really don't care that my wife occasionally gets called a "raghead" either.
