Looking for an easy way to switch to Linux? Try Ubuntu Christian Edition (http://www.whatwouldjesusdownload.com/christianubuntu/2006/07/about-ubuntu-christian-edition.html) It is one of the easiest distros to use, and it has a live CD capability to "try before you buy". That "buy" is metaphoric BTW.
