This is priceless. The sweetest rendition ever. Let me set it up for you. Fenway Park, yesterday, Disability Awareness Day. Lots of nice things done for kids with different needs. They even had a signing monkey throw out the 1st pitch AND he was better than half of the Yankees rotation, he heeeeeeee!

So this kid comes up to sing, gets nervous (bless his heart) and the crowd bails him out. You should have seen how proud he was at the end as he walked off of the field...enjoy...I sure did!!!!

*bump*
I took it off of youtube due to a couple of mean "retard" comments, but then I received numerous emails asking for the video clip and to repost it. Some were from people who were there and had a vested interest in "Disability Awareness Day". So I took off the comments capabilities and reposted and without telling anyone, the video has over a 1,000 hits. The old post also had a bunch of hits, so I think I have hit a nerve. God Bless America!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was awesome Monkeyman. It brought tears to my eyes--and brought back lots of memories.

I used to do foster care for disabled children, and respite foster care for the disabled adults from group homes on holidays. I miss doing it, but my family grew and I just don't have a spare bedroom anymore to take them in. When my kids get grown and married and we have empty nest syndrome :D , if I am physically able to do so, I plan to do it again.

Monkeyman...
I just came across this post and watched it about three times with tear-filled eyes. I forwarded the link to my email list, even before I saw your request. I loved it!!

I have a son with Cerebral Palsy and have been involved with Special Olympics because of it. If anyone needs an uplift, go to the SO games in your area. If you're feeling bad when you leave it's probably because you're in a coffin.

No matter how bad the nation is getting...I STILL love America.

God bless
