Ban him from the game on the presumption of guilt and knowing that if he gambled on dogs trying to kill each other he has gambled on other things as well... possibly even a Falcons' game or two.:winkgrin
Make him play a game of football by himself with 45 rabid pit bulls?

You forgot "Boil him in oil"
As far as reality, I still say due process must be extened even when we dont want it to be. Defending American principles always includes defending even the most unsavory part.
Vick likely will be either proven guilty or will plead to some lesser charge. If in any way shape or form, he proves to be complicit in this, he should be banned for life from Football. However, Due Process MUST be extended.
the falcons on the other hand have every right to excercise exisitng morals clauses that are standard in all NFL contracts stating the appearance of wrongdoing is punishalble. they have the right to bench him now. I would.

I forgot to add my disclaimer... I am an Apostolic so he is guilty until proven innocent beyond a shadow of a doubt and then he must put his firstborn up for collateral before I will trust him again! :) ;) (TIC sort of)

If guilty at least 10 years in prison. Some dogs are better than some people.

Even if he is found innocent, no one will want him. He has given the NFL a bad name by doing what did.

His actions are abhorrent, however he has been tried by the media. Law enforcement is more aggressive due to the media. He should be held to the same standards as those outside of the spot light. The NFL should ban him for whatever his term of prison plus one year.

I hate it when the media distorts things completely out of context, they are like a pack of fenzied, hungry dogs. And then the whole country jumps on the bandwagon, one would think he had murdered hundreds of people, based on the amount of coverage. Again his behavior cannot be tolerated, but must be placed in context.

I look at it this way...Michael Vick isn't being sentenced until December, so this season's already out. Next season is out, too, because he's looking at a year in prison, give or take.
You really think any team will want him after 2 years in jail?? The "next big thing" will already be 2 seasons tried by the time Vick gets out.
His career is over.
p.s. I heard yesterday that he found Jesus....didn't know Jesus was missing.

He should pay back the money that was advanced to him by the Falcons ($33 million?). Then serve whatever time the system deems to be right (I don't have any idea, they say 1 year or so). Then sit out a year's suspension.
Then, give him another chance.
