I lurked a little while at the end of NFCF and enjoyed reading Coonskinner. I did not see him on the other Fellowship hall. Is he still posting?

I believe he's been enjoying a small break and I have no doubt that he'll be joining us when he's ready to come!

The illustrious Coonskinner. I suspect, after preaching a Camp for him last summer, that there may be no finer man in shoe leather to grace a forum. His practical wisdom and spiritual depth make him a poster to be envied.
I suspect he'll be around shortly.

A gentleman with tact and wisdom. I hope he comes to join.

They checked in on the other board.
LCS presented a photo where CS is SMILING!
I need Coonskinner here so I am give him a Christ Church Nashville tongues and interpretation update.
He asked one time if that ever happened at my church so I try to let him know when it does. Today it did.
We had a good service with two of our former Associate pastors in town for my pastors wedding later today. They did tag team preaching with Phil Goldsberry up first, Paul Russell in the middle, and Dan Scott wrapping things up. Service and sermon was really a blessing today. God is good!

So which one of those guys did the tongues and which one did the interpretation?
I assume it was not DS as he would have been holding the incense. :killinme

I don't have a CD of it but I do have a CD of a recent service I missed due to a business trip so I will listen to it and if it is good I will send you a copy!
Today's service should be online in a couple of days to watch or listen to. If you have an MP3 player (I don't yet) you can even download a podcast of the sermon!

Make him send you an offering. Or at least an MP3 of an offering being taken.

Like a cat getting eaten up by a pack of dogs.
The "coon call" is a sound of distress that the coon makes when he is dying. The Skinner can make the sound with the his mouth. It's pretty funny. One time he did it in front of my niece and she walked up and got in his lap and looked all around his mouth and wanted to see his tongue, we were absolutely rolling on the floor. It was hilarious.

See..that would have never happened had they went to a church like mine where the Pastor dismissed for the game, and announced a family day!
