Do any of you have a good brisket recipe? I want to cook it in my oven.

I always cook mine in my under ;)

Someone I know rubs it real good with seasoning salt and puts it in the smoker...maybe it'll work in the over/under

we dont have a smoker, and i do not want to use the grill....the wind is blowing pretty hard. doubt i can keep a flame.

I know one thing for sure: Low and Slow, or you will have one tough piece of meat.

You can't really grill a brisket anyway. The heat is too high, and doesn't allow time for the meat to break down and get tender.

You might post on the smoking meat forums about cooking it in your oven. It certainly isn't something you can plan on having done in time for dinner. :)

yeah.....i was going to cook it tomorrow. i know to cook it about 1 hour per pound...just wasnt sure about what Marinade are good to use????

thanks.....i will go check these out.

i know someone that smokes them.....just didnt want to pay for it when i could do it myself :-)
