Have the times changed and those not in agreement not keeping up ? i want to stay open minded but after last night, i have to say, i wonder if there may be some merit to what critics are saying about the prosperity thing. everthing seems to be about money now.



That is profound...and I think it may be true. I haven't looked at TD Jakes in a minute.

Very little of what he preaches now does anything for the spirit man.

Man, that is scary!

When I think of Tony Robbins, I think artificial, superficial....

But like I said, as long as folks keep on enabling these ministries and flocking to them, what does the word say..?

Itching ears, heaping teachers unto themselves, ever learning, never coming to the knowledge of the truth!

In general, It's pretty much acceptable here now in the black community anyways( bay area).

THat is why this hate crimes law is in the process of being passed.

When I started preaching against this and teaching Acts 2:38, well, that is when the persecution started. No I wasn't arrested.

There are preachers today who are actually being arrested for preaching the truth.

Truth is being attacked. Not just Apostolic truth, but truth in every realm of our existence.

Society wants to shut down truth and uplift and finance junk!

So we may not have room for everyone for a little while but at least they will have somewhere to park! Its so funny how the whole place was just buzzing w excitement today... its happening and everyone is excited! And even tho we havent been here long we are just as excited... mercy I remember when this place had 50 people!

True. The airports in a 250 mile radius of Memphis were closed too. It was very eerie actually - our office building is close to the airport and we see planes (FedEx especially) take off and land all day long and all afternoon there wasn't a thing in the air -- really weird.

I should have gone out to the airport to pass out water bottles and greet the stranded - - I might have run into all sorts of GC people!!

Thad, Thad, Thad... at least be honest here! I did, in fact, meet SoCali today on the runway but there was NO heated discussion about anything. In fact, I have NO idea what you're talking about. The only thing 'heated' was that ungodly hot airplane sitting on the runway for what seemed a couple hours all together.

SoCali seemed like a nice person... even though he totally caught me off guard; just walked up to me on an airplane full of Pentecostal preachers and smiled and said, "Are you Steadfast?" I was kind of stunned to begin with until he told me who he was.

Again, seemed to be a nice enough guy and I can assure you it wasn't 'heated' and can only hope our brief conversation was at least more pleasant than the hideously hot airplane we were stranded on!

oh brother...LOL. Well, that would be stretching it. Our flight had to back to the gate because a dog was on board. While the airline was attending to the dog... I went up to Steadfast and asked if he was Steadfast and he said yes. We had a conversation and if it was heated it had to be the climate in the plane. It was hot hot hot with little air.

Steadfast is a very nice man. It was great to make his acquaintence.

(I am travelling on this trip with my best friend and I pointed Steadfast out in the gate area for our flight and said that guy only knows me by my alter ego...SoCali)

Satans Lair!!! WHOOOOOOOOOO Our churches youth ROCK!!!!!

We worked tirelessly since 9 pm wed night... got totally decorated by 430 this afternoon and wanted to crash... The drama began at 730 and not hardly anyone was there so we waited till 8 and by then we probably had about 450 there!!

This is a drama about all the pressures our kids are under and how to come against these things..

It started out by the young girl and guy fighting.. her killing herself :( then he was fighting in his own mind whether to stay in church or not... went out with some friends for a night of partying and his best friend od's and they go to drive him to the hospital... drunk and all (MADD was sponsoring this along with many others) we had the madd wrecked car in the sanctuary, they wreck the car and our local fire dept and police depts come in... them pulling up with the sirens and lights blarring made it even more awesome... they came in and pronounced 2 dead at the scene and one made it... then the funeral.. then hell.. the (yea it is corny but...not) scene from Dallas... the kid wakes up... it was all a dream... tells his mom about the dream because there is a party he is supposed to go to that night... goes to the party and witnesses and wins all his friends to the Lord because of the dream he had and telling them about it... ended with an awesome WHAT IF... video and then an altar call.... very simply.. youth pastor said.. WHAT IF this was you... as all the youth who were in the drama lay kneeled at the altar already all in tears and crying about 200 more just ran to the altar and no clue but I heard between 6-10 recieved the holy ghost tonight!!! It was so awesome... I will post pics later when I get them...

Sure made the last 3 sleepless nights worth it!!!!

Yes this is the 3rd or 4th yr they have done this... This yr the script has pretty much been rewritten and yes we made dvd's. I think they said it will take about a week to have them ready tho... but awesome!

We have one more night... tomorrow and then the clean up (oh wont that be fun!!!) I think the effect of a wrecked car in the church might... make sunday school interesting dont you?!?!?

Tonight was the last night of the drama and the most awesome night!!! We had a packed house! well for a youth thing at least... about 650 or so.... I know we had at least 5 get the holy ghost maybe more... wasnt sure as I was stuck outside at the end until clean up....

Got to see NanaRenan :) my special friend... I know she doesnt come on here but if she reads this I love you and sorry I didnt get to see you after church but you look awesome!!!!

Tonight was so so so awesome! A young girl we brought who is 3 months pregnant left crying her eyes out told her boyfriend they had to quit living together or go get married now!!!

The paramedics came in and tonight they made it seem even more real than last night.... they brought body bags and all... did cpr on the one person and then at the back door as they were walking out... pronounced him dead.. which they didnt do last night and it made it even more real as that scene led into the funeral scene....

There were at least 100 in the altars and so many more praying in their seats... we had an awesome team of about 25 come from TBC to help out and they were awesome!!!!!! They went downtown and did outreach all day today and then worked the altars tonight and they were even the most awesome cleanup crew!!!

I will have access to the dvd by next Sunday... they are editing them and then of course we had 3 or 4 cameras so they will take it from there and make it and should have it by then I am sure....

The video is never perfect but we watched last nights (well part of it) tonight in the holding area and it was awesome!!!! So yes I will get you one and send it to you asap...

I dont know why nana doesnt post here but I think she may stay in town overnight since we didnt leave the church till 11 and if so I will talk to her tomorrow... and no aff didnt come up because when I saw her I was running in with some missing costumes and I didnt see her again except for when we were all at the altar... so I will catch her tomorrow tho if she is still here... this whole church is her family and the church she and her husband grew up in pretty much so I am sure she will stay if at all possible

Just letting you know I am sick and don't have the energy to post or get involved with the forum right now. besides going non -stop, we been Breathing BAD Air. it's been hot here and smoggy. anyhow, my lungs started hurting, so I went to the doctor. He thinks I have pnuemonia and wanted to take an Xray to be sure. I declined so he gave me a breathing treatment, an inhaler and some antibotics.

I've gotton almost 20 PMs since Yesterday. as soon as i get better, we'll be back in business with some NEWS too ! :pirate

Ouch!!! (kidding i know your messin!) But if she is a sinner... I am the devil I guess... I went into labor with my oldest daughter at the state fair! They all still call her the fair baby.... Our best friend owns most of the parking lots at the texas state fair and we were out there every day and usually still are... I left there and went to the hospital and then left the hospital and her first fair outing was when she was 4 days old... she slept the whole day but.... she was there!

The fair mgr has her newborn pics on his desk to this day LOL... Sad life this child lives... I told her she is blessed at least it wasnt the drive thru carnival... and texas state fair ... thats cool.. one of the best in the country!

You might need to stay home and REST, take your meds, drink plenty of liquids and just chill instead of pushing yourself to do so much. Just my opinion. I know you will do what you feel you must do.
