David Bernard endorsing Christian Rock Band??

I have not heard his son's Band, I am not in Texas, at this point i can only go by what was conferred to me. I was informed that his son has started a christian rock band called " BEYOND THE NOISE "

has anyone heard them ??

If so, what do you think ?

I'm listening to a few of the tracks on their myspace page. Definitely not what I would consider a "rock" or "Christian rock" band. There's some guitar, but not enough to really make me think of it as rock.

well, being a musician, I am pretty open minded about music. i think a lot of it simply a matter of taste. I'm not one to put labels on what God accepts as praise. it's up to him

Just had a different impression, that's all. Nothing negative, just didn't see you being that open minded on the subject. Mine is wide open, that's all..... So, I'm used to having to defend my opinions on the subject!

definitely curious about that to thad, he is really conservative, but i can tell you we love our kids no matter what they do, i would be glad for mine to be in church , the band would just be a bonus, lol,dt:hypercoffee

My impression was that you only approved of/liked gospel/choir type of music. Which proves the old saying about never making assumptions!

nope God is a God of variety. now, I will say that Rock is not one of favorites but I like some of it and i certainly LOVE guitar!! in fact, one of my GREAT Friends is larry carter! I love playing with him.

Whatever...it's called liking a certain style...LC's style does not fit everyone...my husband doesn't like his stuff either and he used to listen to Christian Rock when it first came out and was real "BAD"! LOL
