My son-in-law uses this and he can control another computer mouse from his desktop.
Works from Winders to Linux too.

Yup cross platform. I had been thinking of using more than one PC at church, but there is no room for more than one monitor and keyboard set up

Why would you need more than one PC?
you can set up virtual desktops
Oh wait, you are a PC, not a 'nix box

We need more than one PC because one PC can't do everything at the same time for everyone....
We do the projector and other multimedia through one PC and record and edit. We would like to have a dedicated PC for audio imput for recording several separate tracks/channels with graphical interface in addition to the sound board and keep the recording on while playing audio/other media with the other PC. Otherwise we get a loop effect in recording and plus one PC doing everything just slows down to much
