The Deeper Level Conference with Israel Hougton was hosted by Grace Church in Humble, TX this weekend. They had a live recording on Friday Night and Saturday Night for Israel's latest CD.

Did anyone from the Houston area go to this?

I also heard that Pastors Brett and Scott Jones recently cast vision to build a 5000 seat auditoirum on their property.

I would have gone if I knew about beforehand. Did you go? How was Israel? He is one talented dude.

I wanted to go ... but couldn't ... No one to take care of the kids ...

I was actually able to be in Houston on Friday night and was able to go.

Israel and the New Breed team had just come of a 40-day "Daniel" fast and it was so evident in their spirit.

It was pretty flawless. No stops for technical stuff. Lots of spontaneity moments.

They also recorded again on Saturday Night and Sunday Night. Basically the same songs were recorded on 3 different nights with a couple of song variations.

I also heard that the day sessions with Tudor Bismark and Joseph Garlington was amazing

He did the same type of thing with his last album in South Africa. They recorded over 2 nights. Basically, you pick and choose the "best" of the 3 nights.

How were the songs?

I like Israel's projects.

IMO, the songs are alot more church friendly. Not alot of the over the top arrangements like "Alive" and other stuff from the South Africa project.

This will tell you more of the genre, he had 2 electric guitarist and 2 acoustic guitarist not including him.

Also Darlene Zschech was there. She spoke and prayed with the audience.
