I would love to have a little girl but the thought of dealing with her from 12 to 21 just scares the begeebers out of me!

LOL. My "little girl" just got her learner's permit a couple of month's ago. Whoa!

When my wife was pregnant with her I kept saying, "I hope it's a boy because that would be cheaper..." The oldest was (is) a boy. I just saw this efficient chain of hand-me-downs and no worries about strange lugnuts showing up on the door step wanting in. I was disappointed, #2 was (is) a girl!

But then again, she is a light in my heart at all times. I have these text msgs on my phone that say, "I love you daddy!" that I cannot erase. I hear an optismistic voice whenever I'm down and laughter is continually coming from any room that she's in. I guess the cost of the jean skirts isn't too much for the joy she brings. And there's a cousin that we can hand-me-down to, girl style. I wouldn't trade anything for "the only baby girl I ever had!"

you make it sound so worth the price of admission! we actually figured out the whole deal on the clothes. we have a friend who has a daughter about our little boys age. she is going to have a boy, so if we have a girl, we'er just swapping.

Me and Rebecca (my 17 year old) are really close. Wouldn't trade her for anything. She loves football more than me! How cool is that?:jolly

Plus she's a whiz in everything.

Did I tell you that she has scholarship offers from all over the place?

And that's she's pretty?

And that she can sing like a bird?

And that she doesn't realize what a real meathead her old man is?

Gotta love girl children.:rudolph

Well in that case...I have a six month old nephew named Daniel who has actually brought a healing to my family after the death of my father in 2004.

And it should scare you. :D Start praying now.

I have two girls between the ages of 12-21-- and an 8 yr old boy.

I pray more now than I ever have. :D
