Nebraska - this is definitely the place to be! *especially if you're a Messianic Jew* :lol Ah, yes, Nebraska. The land of incredible revival . . . or so they say. :nod

Arizona - you must choose sides! Either you're with the Conservatives or you're with the Liberals . . . there's no in between here. *no unity here for that matter, either.* :haloplug

Okay, for real, I love both Districts. There are great ministers and churches in both Districts. We may not always agree on everything, but I do respect the ministers from these Districts. *well most of them anyway.* :largehalo

Unfortunately though, for a little while at least, Nebraska will be known as the "Jewish revival fraud" state. The good thing is there are some Joshua and Caleb-type pastors that are rising up and the old guard is ready to be replaced. Soon Nebraska ~will~ have a great revival . . . pictures and video included. :thumbsup

did you know Rob Bibb when you were in AZ? I have known Rob since we were youngsters and I went to TBC with his precious wife!

I count them as friends.. just not sure which side of the AZ divide the fall on!:heeheehee

Are you talking about the younger Bibb (Pentecostals of Phx) or the elder Bibb? I know the younger Bibb, pastor of the PoP. Great man, awesome pastor. Has a great church that's growing and doing really well. I spoke with him a couple months ago and I believe they had just purchased land to build on!

At PoP they have a banner that says "balance." That's how they are, very balanced. They're open and receptive to all the UPC churches, regardless of leanings.

You got the right one... PoP... and Thank the Lord they have acquired land... Their location is not good and is not getting any better.

I know Rob's dad as well... the entire family actually. They are all good folks!

I have played golf with Bro. Bibb so I know that he is definitely, as you say, balanced and not a total ultra con.:tease

If I am not mistaken Elder Bibb pastored where Rob is now before Rob took the church. It also seems like I remember that Elder Bibb is now in a Home Missions work in another area around Phoenix.

Again, a great family of great folks.

TV is very prevelant in West TN UPC churches. I am glad that they
do not try to enforce a rule that many know should be removed from our
manual.

When I lived in Lebanon we went to eat one evening after service in a resturant in a neighboring town and the UPC pastor and entourage was kicked back watching tv in the resturant like it was nothing. And when the 'saints'(?) they were saying they had to hurry home to see the rest. Laugh, laugh!!!! They saw us there I spoke to them on the way in barely got a nod they were so involved. Forget the apology you are on the mark they could care less about television or mush of anything.

I love it Bro. Epley. MUSH of anything. You are right on the money, Brother.

That's the way we all should be!
Balanced!!!!!!!!!
And we should be receptive to all Jesus name brethren, regardless of their
leanings on the issues that divide us.

Leaves one wondering whether ethics and honesty matters anymore though.
