I'm not saying there are not people of conservative leaning that live in the
state of California. My family members who live there are conservative.
However, the state of California has been both politically and socially liberal
for some time. When was the last time a conservative republican carried
the state of California in an election? We have to go back to Bush vs. Dukakis.

Oh, I don't know about that. Most districts I know of take a stand against
fornication, adultery, lying, stealing, cursing, blaspheming, drunkeness, etc...
things that the Bible CLEARLY takes a stand against.

Part of what MonkeyMan is saying is correct.....if you took a look at a map of the State of California and look at a county "red and blue" map....there is far more conservative counties. You have Los Angeles County as liberal and the Bay area. They are heavily concentrated with a very liberal view and mindset...and take the votes.
