If the criteria for conservatism is separation from the world, then compared with the Amish who live nearby me, Kansas is a district of flaming liberals, and my district is then Hell itself. :lol

What district are you in?

Do the liberals and moderates get leeway?

Obviously "conservative" is a relative term. I would dare that, in relation to most other districts in the UPCI it is safe to say that Kansas is conservative.

Whatever happened to the label christian? That's good enough for me.

I'm not saying there are not people of conservative leaning that live in the
state of California. My family members who live there are conservative.
However, the state of California has been both politically and socially liberal
for some time. When was the last time a conservative republican carried
the state of California in an election? We have to go back to Bush vs. Dukakis.

[QUOTE=BoredOutOfMyMind;111473]I do not know of any District who takes a stance against use of the Internet.

Quite a few it seems do not take a stance against much at all. [ /QUOTE]

Oh, I don't know about that. Most districts I know of take a stand against
fornication, adultery, lying, stealing, cursing, blaspheming, drunkeness, etc...
things that the Bible CLEARLY takes a stand against.

Part of what MonkeyMan is saying is correct.....if you took a look at a map of the State of California and look at a county "red and blue" map....there is far more conservative counties. You have Los Angeles County as liberal and the Bay area. They are heavily concentrated with a very liberal view and mindset...and take the votes.
