Good post. There are other forums where people can debate with unbelievers about the existence of God and the infallibility of the Word. I'm glad this forum doesn't allow such fruitless and tiresome conversations to take over. :)

Every place has its guidelines. Different places have different guidelines. If I'm in your house I'll either respectfully follow yours or I won't go there. Most of us don't think it unreasonable to follow the limited guidelines we have here. No matter where any of us draw the "line" there will be those who don't like it. We can accept that.

Having been in leadership for decades, there are 2 important things I have learned and try my best to practice:
1. I can be a follower even when I don't agree and I'm not in charge.
2. As a leader, no matter what I say or do, someone is not going to like it.

I can accept that and either end of the line I'm on, it makes life much more palatable and frees me to focus on making a difference instead of attempting to straighten the deck chairs on the Titanic. :D

I don't think this is intended to be a Christian Apologetics forum for unbelievers, NOW. This is essentially a fellowship forum for people who've already accepted the basics and want to converse with like-minded people. We differ a LOT even within those boundaries. :)

True. We can't and won't attempt to be all things to all people. Comparatively, there is a huge amount of freedom here compared to other "like" forums. :D

You guys ever watch his show? Every day they get together and pray and God starts feeding them images of sick people and they start "healing" them.

It looks fake but before any bleeding heart charismatic cry out in protest, you'll notice that they always have their heads cocked to the side so you can't see one ear. I believe they wear ear pieces.

Then, one day they had a new person on, that African American (black for you non PC people) lady. She took someone's place. The guy was doing his thing and then he stopped and for a brief moment there was nothing. Then he nudged the lady and she started right up where he left off.
