You got to admit, though, that little 'Van Halen' diddy up on the neck of a screaming guitar just doesn't seem to fit in "Greater Is He That Is In Me".

i must admit that his music changed the dynamics of pentecostal worship. before him it was an upright piano and 3 electric guitars in my part of the country anyway!!!.
when his music came on i was just a teenager but guitar players didnt know what to do and ultimately guitars got pushed back in favor of electric keyboards and organs But from a musical standpoint i think his musical arrangements took us to the next level and eliminated some backwoods guitar and tambourine combos. We do have to admit that he was a major influence.

thank God now for people like Mr. Mark who seems to like guitar with the music.
