I thought that ministry was already taken.

I inherited it from HAM..... :aaa

I might live in a pagan dominated world (days of the week, months of the year, etc.), but I do NOT have to be involved with the roman church and her false doctrines and her holidays.

My point exactly...

I can live in a pagan dominated world and yet maintain biblically based worship.

The early Church did just that!

I don't doubt that at all...

But many do...

And by that same token I don't see why those same people would not tell their kids the same thing about the easter bunny.

Children hear about three things when they're young: Santa Claus, the Easter bunny and Jesus Christ. They eventually find out that Santa Claus and the Easter bunny are not real. What do you think they believe about Jesus?

Easter Sunday is a pagan holiday ... All right fellas ... let's cancel church on April 8th .... LOL

We have always told our kids Santa is a Christmas clown, and the Easter Bunny is like Barney - imaginary.

Now the Tooth Fairy is a different issue altogether.

Talk about weak arguements and putting words in a persons mouth!

You said that, I didn't.

I cannot tell if it is a true story or not but I once heard a story recounted about a child that found out Santa wasn't real. He had truly believed and was rather upset at finding this out.

He is said to have stormed out stating "And I'm going to check into Jesus too"

To children one is often as real as the other. What a shaky ground to build ones faith in God on.
