Beats selling peanut brittle. I'm taking my kids to the Rod Parsley Youth Even the end of May. My kids won't attend a upci youth event for a while. The upci trend seems to be making on unbiblical mandates salvational at major youth events.

Take them to a religious whore house they won't hear any rules there at all. The ignorance of some folks is astounding. When Jehosphat went down to Ahab's meeting his son got a wife that killed their grandkids. Have fun hear.:aaa

Well we had a service not long ago where the Lord took over and there was only worship; no shouting and no preaching. :tiphat

:tiphat I agree! I have seen it, where a few will stop practically mid-air if the music stops!
Our church, (which is UPC and is pastored by a licensed UPC preacher--imagine that!) has services full of the 'shockamoo'. . .music pumping, people dancing, shouting, running, etc but it is not like that all the time. As someone already said, there is a time and place for all forms of worship. Having the shockamoo ALL THE TIME can create a very blurry line between true worship and shallow praise. If you don't feel you can have a real move of God without all the shockamoo, then that's when I think the line's been crossed, IMO

We have that from time to time BUT we also have Bible class where folks acutally sit and listen with their Bibles open with a tablet in their laps. You know the blackboard stuff.

I think it shows his fruit -- what's deep inside of him and most who have become TV "superstars". They eventually will HAVE TO resort (no pun intended) to such measures to support their "habit".
