Are you mocking me? You are making MY case...are you being like the cheese in the cheese its commercial just repeating what I say? See..YOU are the one that says "God Lost" or "God failed" or "God won" as if God is in a game with an opponent, not us. You said that.

God is NOT in a game is OUR point. Therefore for one soul to not be saved, if God is NOT in a game, does NOT mean God lost.

And God's purpose was MY Point again therefore your argument that God lost is a false argument

Yes, it makes sense. It would be a connotative usage not figurative as the sentence is not a metaphor.

Why does Rob Bell call it Love Wins, if it is not a game? I first heard the game scenario from you, bro. Way back you said God loses if most go to he'll. Only using your terms.

Again, you guys jump on a rabbit trail, like it refutes something. This is a strawman argument that adds nothing to the discussion.

If Jesus came to save all men, and he only saves a fraction of all men, something has gone very wrong. So, use whatever termology you like the result is the same, if God doesn't accomplish His stated purpose....what would you call it. The terms used may not do justice to this very important subject, but that is only a limitation of humanity, but still instructive to the discussion.

So, just because "words" are used to explain a point, it does not dimmish the truth presented.

Well, you said WIN or LOSE. You had a reason. It's just the sort of implications UR banks on with scripture. Such implicative derivations from the bible are strawman positions as well.

Using the term, Won or Lost is not a problem in my opinion. You can also use conquered or defeated, first or last, or even a GPA to help describe a point of success. Even the Scripture below uses this type of metaphor to describe our venture as Christians, even though we aren't running a physical race.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God
.

As far as one soul being lost, defining the term "Lost" is where I have a problem. Burning and cooking an eternal creation forever because of a few measly years of being alive in a body that is prone to fail, simply and plainly doesn't make sense.

If we can't conclude beyond any doubt of how a person avoids this torture chamber, which makes Hitler's concentration camps look like a picnic, then Houston, we've got a problem!

Every time we discuss this, and the lines begin to be drawn, EVERYBODY has their own opinion of who is saved, and who isn't. And, the main reason for this is when people try to comprehend a lake of fire, burning their loved ones and friends in unquenchable flames, we fall apart when trying to understand such grief.
