Just amazing!

Exactly Renda. When I saw these pics yesterday, this one really caught my attention. Can you imagine if this was your daughter's dormroom? I am so glad the girl who lived in this room is alive.

I wonder how long they will give the students to try to get their belongs out before they try to start cleanup efforts.

I'd say today and that's about it - they said on the news they were starting clean up already. For some they have a total loss and some they can get a lot, but can't get to their rooms. So sad and a complete miracle no one was killed.

I remember that University so well when we visited TN, it was beautiful, immaculate and pristine--so for someone who has never lived in a Tornado area it is almost unbelievable that these monster tornados could cause this amount damage.

Unless I had seen the University before I would not have understood the magnitude of what happened and the message these pictures convey.

Yes it was a true miracle.

Exactly, Jeanie. I agree with what you are saying. The pics are bad, but knowing what it looked like pre-storm, makes it that much worse.

And even though they will rebuild, and it will be beautiful and modern, I love the stateliness of the school. That is one of the things that I love about my daughter's college. It is stately.

Those are amazing photos! It's amazing that nobody was killed!

To add humor to a tragic situation, our accountant told us that next time he hears a tornado warning, he's going to run to a bar!

The reason: You always hear about tornados hitting trailer homes, schools, churches, etc, but you never hear about a tornado hitting a bar! :lol

Jon made that exact same point yesterday. He said he has never heard of one being destroyed.
