Maybe it wasn't a boycott, but a time of fasting or something.

I think it was some type of vow or something they made "spiritual" however, I was told that there was a message behind it too.

Yes, most of them were UPC. I have no idea what that was all about but nonetheless, they all made a pledge not to shave after they had some type of "Round Table" get together.

Wasn't this an attempt to form a new organization or ministerial fellowship called the HBUPCP?
