Terry 512-463-1393 was the planning committee. So far can only leave a message with her.

I wonder how you start a petition to oppose this?

Everybody needs to contact their congressman on this. Unfortunately, many in the state won't really be affected by it and will stand by and do nothing. But what they may not realize is this applies to fires, floods, hurricanes or any reason the government decides to tell you to leave your home.

What if the government decides they want your home they tell you to leave and won't let you back? Then what?

You say that won't happen? Who thought the day would come that they would a man he has to leave for his own safety?

Are they going to give him the money for the gas and food to leave?

When will they let him back?

In case you can't tell I am very upset about this latest infringement on our rights.

I've lived in Texas most of my life and our family has never left for a storm.

The thing is... until people break themselves free from the Dem/Repub Ferris Wheel then none of us are going to get anywhere.

There has to come a realization that no matter who gets in out of the 2 main parties we continue down the same spiral.
