MAY is the same thing as believing, in my book. :killinme

I was going to go into why that gets to me, but I decided to forget it.

God said "Let there be...." and BANG, there it was!
Exactly, but it doesn't fit in with the 20th century children's pop-up book version of events. Of course, if you go by THAT book, the only animals that exist are elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, monkeys, and few birds.

None! Nor any woolly mammoths.

It IS funny that the existence of dinosaurs is excepted in Christian circles NOW, but just a few decades ago many did not believe in them even going so far as to say that the fossils found were put there by the devil to confuse us.

So what do you think brought the 40 days of rain? Atmosphere? OR God?

RandyWayne 08-24-2007 02:33 PM

Both. It was question of divine timing.

Exactly. I well remember people not believing in them.

God is a sovereign God. He is omnipotent. He controls weather - Scripture says so. :thumbsup

Jesus spoke to and controlled specific local weather events. God does indeed have the ability to control the weather.

Are you stating that God specifically creates & drives individual major weather systems (hurricanes etc)
