Someone here said that they already have their minds made up. I believe that to be so.

Whoever he is, he gets his position because God ordains it to be so. Good or bad, the signs of the times is upon us.

Pope Peter the II is supposed to be the name that this new Pope goes by. I do not know if this prophecy is true or not, nor do I care. The only way he will be the last Pope is for Rome to be destroyed during his tenure. This is more likely to yappen if he is a younger man.

It's funny-stupid that people go by a prophecy by a non apostolic to make the bishop of Rome fit into end time prophecy. The length that a person will go so he can hold on to tradition rather than study to "shew himself approved."

It does not matter to me whether or not an obscure prophecy by a papist mystic comes to pass or not. I know hat the Bible says, and when God has allowed her error to reach its fullness, He will then destoy.

The RCC is nothing more than a pagan perversion of the true church. She stands firm on only a few issues of morality, and her grip on those is more than a little tenuous. She is both the mother of all modern denominations and Islam, an illegitimate child of hers. She has never hesitated to kill those who stood for more truth than she was willing to accept at any given time and tried to erase all record of opposition to her rule.

In my opinion... the vast majority of denominations (UPCI included) are rampant with pagan and/or reformist influence be it doctrinal, structural, or traditional.

Guys... even the beloved "sermon" is pagan. The early Sophists perfected Platonic rhetoric with a monologue that comprised of an opening, text/preposition, and at least four supplimental points, and a closing. The very structure of most sermons is... pagan.

Biblically speaking when Christians gathered, they gathered in smaller groups. There was a reading, some hymns, and open discussion with regards to the Scriptures or the life of Jesus. All "preaching" was discussion based or extemporaneous, led by the Spirit.

Paul tells us what a meeting should be like:

I Corinthians 14:29-38
29 Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 30 And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. 33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.

Thats what I mean all the other religions Baptist,Catholic,Methodist all of them if they are wrong let God sort it out. I have never been in any church and had other churches called out from the Pulpit except a UPC church..Other denominations have issues just like the Catholic Church does no one is perfect..

So, I understand this guy believes some Reformed theology stuff... is a political commie dude and while opposed to most contraception, does not oppose for the sake of preventing STDs.

He opposes gay marriage but only because he believes children need both mothers and fathers.... EDIT that was wrong. he pretty much says gay marriage is really really bad stuff.
