A couple years ago had to work on a few refineries. I couldn't step foot on the property without a (TWIC) card. Compliments of George Bush and homeland scrutiny. This card heald my complete ID profile. They could scan the plant at any given time and seize my clearance if I wasn't supposed to be in a secure area. Or if I was not supposed to be there. They could control and monitor my presence wherever and when ever. Some of the guys would make sleeves for the cards that were of some lead content, to hide our id. When in public. But it was scary that at anytime if anyone in the public had a id smart card reader. Our id could be stolen or hijacked.

Don't tell me the government doesn't also have this technology.

I ran into a soldier that told me they are already using the chip in military prisons. Makes sense for the inmates at Guantanamo.

They don't even have to ask who are u? They know and can shut you off. If you take the mark.

That's the whole concept behind the smart phone. It may not be the mark itself but it is one step closer.

Bro. Perez, we have come "light years" in technology in the last 35 years of my observation of this, during my walk with God.

This technology is leading us down a path of computer controlled currency.

Christians are not the only ones aware of this.

Cash, to me, is fiat paper and related items. Gold and silver coins are actual objects of value.

In any event, the PTBs are herding us to digital currency, and then biometric financial transactions, and ultimately they want us in a matrix style petri dish.

Buy lead and brass, beans, butter, and TP.

Sean, that isn't about a second coming, that is speaking about his first coming. Peter is speaking about Judeans scoffing concerning Messiah. The verse is referring to individuals scoffing that Messiah didn't come, because they didn't believe Jesus was the Messiah. Therefore there were Judeans who doubted that Messiah would come at all. The way you ended your post looks like you are the scoffer.

Sean, look at the 4th verse, SINCE THE FATHERS FELL ASLEEP. Sean that is speaking of the patriarchs who were looking for the first coming of Messiah.
Also how many day of the Lord are found in the Bible? Day of the Lord to Judeans and Israelis meant judgement, and they all believed that is why Messiah would come in the first place. They weren't expecting a carpenter on a donkey, but a conqueror to destroy the Gentiles.

The fathers aren't the apostles, the fathers were the patriarchs. Peter is writing to a Judean audience and they wouldn't of seen "THE FATHERS" to mean the apostles. Which Peter was one. Did Peter consider himself as one of the "FATHERS?"

Since the beginning of creation, wording is a pretty good indicator of what Peter is speaking about and who he is referring to as the fathers. This was primarily referring to the advent of Messiah to the Judeans, and the scoffers who believe that Messiah wasn't coming. Yet, the would be the losers when everything would be destroyed around them.

It is saying what the prophets and the apostles were SAYING that scoffers would come, and they would SAY where is the promise of His coming, For since our fathers fell asleep, all things remain the same as they always were. Sean, this is a quote from the prophets and the apostles concerning WHAT THE SCOFFERS SAID. Hello!
