It's ok. I am normally a very nice, easy going guy. I am just sick of the acceptance of sin, and made a decision not to sit quitely by and make it seem acceptable here on AFF. If you would rather have a man that is still looked upon a homosexual by many that have been close to him in recent years, than someone that is just sick of sin and maybe gets to overzealous, then be my guest.

I am thinking of writing a song called "Lanny Wolfe Is Coming to Town" using the tune of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town."

Does anyone think that has possibilities?

Robert Morgan
Pastor, Potter's House Fellowship, Tampa, FL (a Homosexual church)

The intense desire of his heart is to see the glory of God dissolve barriers that separate us from each other and the rest of the Body of Christ. Rob has come to learn that issues are not as important as relationships.

Born an Assemblies of God minister's son, Robert was raised in Indiana and was the fourth generation of his family to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. During the 1970's, he was involved in the Charismatic movement until leaving to study for the ministry at Southeastern College in Lakeland, FL.

His interest in gospel music took him to Jackson College of Ministries in Jackson, MS where he studied choral directing, piano and organ under Lanny Wolfe. Robert moved to Tampa, FL where he spent several years as Minister of Music in the United Pentecostal Church International. He received ministerial credentials from the UPC and moved to Dallas, TX where he served as Associate Pastor and eventually as a home missions pastor.

In 1997, he started a monthly Bible study that soon became Potter's House Fellowship, Tampa, Florida.

In 2000, he co-founded the Fellowship of Reconciling Pentecostals International and served as its first Chief Presiding Presbyter.

When not working, Robert finds himself enjoying time with his two wonderful sons, Preston & Gentry. He currently is working on his first book.

so...they are having a conference in 2008...the BOLDED part of this speakers bio got me - I didnt even notice the UPC part at first...

Louis Rameriz believes that a true worshipper worships as fervently from the pew as he/she does from the stage. He loves to lead people into God’s Throne room where miracles and healings happen. Louis comes from the UPC, and has decades of experience as a musician, singer, arranger, composer, and recording artist.

"Well, you better watch out, you better not prance
You better not wear them shiny dress pants
Lanny Wolfe is coming to town."

How's that for a start?

Laaaaaannnny is coming to town.

You are only going by what you have heard and you seem to want to choose the believe the negative...

But back to my first posts to you... You haven't answered it..

We can't stand the doctrine of once saved always saved... But it sounds to me like you prescribe to the doctrine of once a sinner always a sinner...

What's worse...

I don't accept sin at all... But just because he is looked upon as a homo doesn't mean he is one...

With the attitude you are portraying, I would not want you to come to my church because I have siners that have been saved by grace in my congregation and I wouldn't want someone to call them by what they used to be...

The issue is not whether or not God can and will forgive; we know He does.

The issue is that there has been no repentance and a continuing pattern of the ungodly behavior that got him bounced out of JCM.

There is a major difference between "sinners saved by grace"and a man who went out into perversion, and made no attempt to repent, just went charismatic and kept right on "ministering."

Pastor G,

With all due respect, Lanny has done nothing to allay any of the accusations against him. A statement from him as a public person would be helpful. Certainly, the arrest report in Illinois was public knowledge, I saw it myself, and it was even spread through a periodical (though I did not support the particular publication any more than I did Thad's Tab). What are we supposed to believe?
