The subsidization will primarily be through adjusted block grants to individual states to use in programs currently in place.

Where do you think the money for these "block grants" is going to come from?

I will tell you. From my pocket and that of other hard working Americans.

If you think the government is going to be able to negotiate any savings in health care you have a lot more confidence in the government than I do.

As I heard someone say the other day just think for a minute that the same yoyo's that run your local post office and Social Security office on a Federal level and the folks who run your local DMV on the state level would be administering your health care! That is a scary thought as inefficient as those people are.

Medicare and medicaid are prime examples of how inefficiently the government runs health care when it is given the responsibility. The amount of fraud and overcharges / overpayment in those two systems is amazing.

Nothing is free. As much as I empathyze with your pastor his church should band together and get him medical insurance, not my taxes.

Abortion on demand, Divorce on Demand, Jezebels preaching on TV, Prayer banned from schools, (but they pass out condoms to kids), Gay marriages being legalized.

How can anyone be shocked we have a muslim one step from the White House.

Repent before it's too late America.

It's not my pastor. It's a pastor I know.

I have a government negotiated plan and I pay $40 a month for a family of three on our plan. What do you pay?

Obama's not a Muslim. He's a liberal Christian Liberationist.

When you don't have your facts straight it really discredits your message, even when it's relevant.

There is no decent insurance for forty bucks a month. That may be the portion you are paying but somebody (and I am guessing somebody's tax dollars)are paying a whole lot more.

The best negotiator in the world can't get forty buck a month health insurance. There is a subsidy somewhere!

I agree about calling him a Muslim. There is plenty of reasons to oppose Obama without resorting to lies and inuendo.

I will saythat it is a scary thing that the only reason he "became a Christian" was that he was told he needed to join a local Chicago church if he wanted to work with area churches in organizing political / social things. That is what led him to that nutty pastor and church. They were the big kid on the block and the up and coming far left wing radical Black chicago Dems went there.

That he stayed for 20 years after hearing 5 minutes of his pastor speaks enough of his judgement for him to be disqualified from being President and probably dogcatcher.

When you negotiate for thousands of employees the group rates are very nice. I have an HSA. I get 100% coverage after my $4000 deductible is met. And by contract the government covers the first $3000 of that.

A lot of folks are paying $700 or more a month. Why? Because they are paying for the uninsured. Either way you go you're paying for the uninsured. The only difference is right now you're not only paying for their health care, you're paying into the industry's profit margins and for all the fees and administrative costs involved.

Forgive me, a liberal Christian Liberationist with closer ties to the Muslim world than any candidate in the history of the United States.

Is that better?

My company has over 60,000 employees so I think they have pretty good bargaining power in regards to group rates. Trust me they didn't get forty bucks a month.

The $4,000 deductible explains some of the low premium and the fact that the government pays $3,000 of that deductible. Now..hmmmmm....I wonder where the government is getting that $3,000 - wait let me guess - somebody's tax dollars!

Even with the $4000 deductible I am willing to bet your insurance premium is being subsidized.

Yes it its!!! That is factual.

Plus you forgot to mention the first President with not one, not two, but THREE Islamic names.

So while he may not be a Muslim he has Islamic influence all over him. His dad was a Muslim and he attended a Muslim school for two years in Jakarta.

I don't believe he is one now but he cetainly has exposure and possibly, probably sympathy's with them.
