Shock. Sadness. And it seemed so sudden. Crud...I hate it when this kind of stuff happens. I feel bad for the family and close friends

Jesus give peace to the family and friends, God's will be done. Amen

From today's email

Brethren,

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus!

The company of the United Pentecostal Church is still mourning the unexpected
death of our dear comrade Evangelist Charles Mahaney. Pastors, friends and
saints all over the world also are left stunned by his sudden passing. His
friendship, team spirit, and love for the Gospel were contagious beyond
compare.

For 34 years Evangelist Charley Mahaney preached
crusades, revivals and seminars. He raised thousands of dollars for churches,
departments and local ministries all over the United States. He led the Prison ministry
for the United Pentecostal Church faithfully directing thousands to a
true gospel experience of salvation behind prison walls.

Bro. Mahaney's sudden passing has left an important void
for his family. Sis. Mahaney or "Lucky" as he liked to call her is in need of
your love and support. Bro. Mahaney's investment of his life in the work of the
kingdom of the Lord Jesus was a great sacrifice.

In response to financial realities that Sis. Mahaney
faces, the Evangelist ministry of the General Home Missions Division has
partnered with the Arkansas District to assist with the financial burden after
our friend's death. "Charley" was the sole financial support for his family and
now his support is gone. Simply put, there is no savings, retirement, 401k or
annuities to draw on.
I join the team at Home Missions in asking you to join us
as we bear Sis. Mahaney's financial burden.

At Bro. Mahaney's funeral it was suggested that pastors
who had been blessed by his ministry contribute the equivalent of one week of
revival pay for Sister Mahaney. Already the General Home Missions Division,
Spanish Evangelism and Multicultural Ministry have contributed. Many brought
offerings to the funeral.

Your contributions should be sent to:

May the Lord bless you for your concern and support of
our friend's widow.
