Hello Traci, and welcome to the Marvelous Light of AFF. Glad to meet ya. I visit churches in our area (Baptist, Full Gospel, etc.,) but would love to have a good "moderate" Oneness church to be a part of. I've never been UPC, was ALJC for a while back in my preaching days. I live in the North East Corner of the state, near Trenton, GA actually. I've been "encouraged" to start a church here, but I wouldn't know how to go about it. Thought about running an ad, a "message" of sorts, in the local paper to see if there is any interest, but... since I am not a preacher, I don't know that it would be appropriate for me to under take the task or not. I know of an empty church building.... gonna go check on it tomorrow morning. Theres a church in Bridgeport (the one I wrote about a few weeks ago). They are having services there once a week Saturday night) now. I visited the other night. Good service, good people, but a little bit of a drive. Anyway, will be praying for you. The church in Decherd would be quite a drive for you -but it would be worth a visit sometime. I'll ask Bro. Ricky (the pastor) if he knows of a church in your area. There use to be one near Lawrenceburg. I was aked to be the pastor once- but...that wasn't my calling. So...I'll be praying for you that God will lead you to a good church.

Another unfinished website. Whats up with you people? Can't you guys finish a website? I have been checking a website for 2 years now...still get the same thing: "Site under construction, please check back later". We're building websites folks, we not building Noah's Ark!:happydance:happydance

OA, my family and another family are fixin to start having home meetings. I am very excited about making this a reality. Maybe you could look into it for you.

I'm thinking about this, Bro. But I don't know anyone in this area who might want to attend. Thought about running an ad in the local paper for a month or so to determne if there is any interest. Maybe a brief article once a week for a month or so on some subjects that might be covered in some home meetngs. Invite some folks and see what happens. I know where there is a vacant church building, (small, but nice) a few miles away. Might do some inquiring. That's be great... but missing one thing....a preacher. Got to have a preacher.
