God gave me one of those men, thankfully!

That is exactly what I am talking about ladies!!

One of the things John Eldridge wrote that I thought was humorous but very thought provoking was, "Do you think Jesus was more like Mister Rogers or William Wallace?"

Biblical men weren't wimps! They were MEN!!!

I am glad that Jesus didn't take the "heart of the lion" out of me when He saved me!! There is nothing wrong with fighting as long as we fight the right fight. :D

So the version of men women want is leather wearing harley riding bandana wearing men??

Amazing... The Wimps are usually those who are so insecure they need the clothing..the bike and the belt to feel like they are something... Most women who are married to these guys constantly have to compete for their time, their love and their commitments...

Real Men are men who stay married, go to church faithfully, work to feed their families, Pray Faithfully and it doesnt' matter what they drive..they are secure in their relationship... with God, wife and family... they take time to be with them and time for themselves...

and yes Jesus took care of business when it came time to but he also turned the other cheek when slapped and as a sheep before her sheareres was dumb he didn't open his mouth... now that is a real man... because some of the leather wearing towel headed guys who think a car, a bike or a gun makes them a man will never even come close...imo...

I don't see where leather & Harleys really have anything to do with it. It's not about the leather, it's about the heart. Men are "wild" in varied ways and riding a Harley is only one of the myriad ways.

Not real men. If the man is a real man, he doesn't sacrifice his family for his play.

Once again, it has nothing to do with what one drives or rides. It has to do with an attitude of a man as a warrior for his family, his church, his country, his job and his play.

and yes Jesus took care of business when it came time to but he also turned the other cheek when slapped and as a sheep before her sheareres was dumb he didn't open his mouth... now that is a real man... because some of the leather wearing towel headed guys who think a car, a bike or a gun makes them a man will never even come close...imo...

I agree. None of those things make anyone a man. But wildness is bound in the heart of a man. It comes out in varied ways. Some like to hunt etc. Jesus stated that those who live by the sword will die by the sword. He wasn't stating that we become wimps. However, the One who drove out the money changers with an improvised whip, was stating, I believe, that our primary source of strength is His power. There is only one situation that I will use force, deadly or otherwise, and that is to protect my family or someone else's life.

Real men don't go looking for fights, but Lord help the person who threatens the safety of their family. :D

Glad you guys liked it!!! There were a LOT of men in attendance at both services but the 2nd service was pretty packed. It was a great success. My prayer then and now is that the seed that was sown will bring forth fruit to salvation!

You should have seen the service when I came down from sound room at the top of the ceiling on a wire!! These things get people's attention and open their hearts for the precious seed. They are only a means to an end! But they are fun as well!! :D

Well, here it is. I promised video from the service and here it is!!! It is only the first 10min of the service, but at least you can catch a glimpse of the fun and see me ride my son's Sportster into the church and onto the platform!! The previous video you saw was what we played until the time I entered the church.

The second service was fairly packed and we had a really great time. Enjoy!!! :D
