and wasn't that at 1335 Fort Street?
That used to be the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ Pentecostal Faith back in the late 1950's or early 1960's when I belonged to that organization. I was in that church once. I think it was in 1959. Sis. Alta Johnson was the pastor. She took over the pastorate after the death of her husband.

Re: Bro. Rex Dyson

I have a ministerial list for The Churches of Jesus Christ International, headquartered in Cleveland, TN. The Chairman is Bishop Boyd Lawson. It is not dated but agrees with their web site before it was updated a couple of years ago. It lists the following Dysons:
Rev. Kenneth Dyson, Memphis, TN
Bishop James C. Dyson, Malvern, AR
Bishop Steve Dyson, Marion, NC

I have an ALJC ministerial directory from 1978 and cannot find any Dysons in it.

I have a Church of Jesus Christ ministerial list with no date on it. It lists the headquarters at Oxford, PA and lists G. Calvin Brown as the Presiding Bishop. It does not list Bishop Mark Lawson as part of the Board of Bishops but lists Boyd Lawson as a Bishop with an address of Louisville, KY. It does not list anyone with the name of Dyson.

Yes Sister Johnson was Pastor when I was born. Bishop Steinbarger dedicated me in jan. 66'. I lived in the passonage for a year until it was sold about year and a half ago. My Parents got saved and married at the Fort street Church.
