It's just that I find it interesting that Helen Thomas would be so serious about this line of questioning. Why blurt out that it's not Constitutional? The reason it interests me concerning Helen is that she is on record for saying that George W. Bush was the worst president she has ever known. Her reason - Because of his Conservative views. She said that she is a Liberal and will die a Liberal. "How can you see so much and not be a Liberal?" she asks. I would have loved for her to elaborate a little more on that point. So, I find it interesting that she pushes the WH on their secrecy saying they have never seen it at this level as they are seeing it now. She is saying it's against the Constitution to not be American born and she is wanting to know why the issue keeps coming up. This is very interesting and I wonder what information she may have heard that has caused HER to also doubt the authenticity of Obama being American born. Again, the point for me is that it's Helen Thomas wondering about it......Hmmmmmmm.......Not a far-right or even middle of the road Conservative in any way, shape or form. |

I'm reluctant to believe his birth certificate is authentic. This is not a conspiracy thread. It is simply putting out curious information about the issue. Obviously, as Helen Thomas is stating, the issue is not settled for many. |

"I ... have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen," Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said in a brief statement. "I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago." Not being accusatory towards you, I am just asking. |

But let me ask you this. On an issue of this magnitude... Do you think they would lie? |

They blame the right-wing conspiracy on this, but Helen is a far-left Liberal and is questioning this as well. Why would she so forcefully say - "It's against the Constitution"? |

I understand not wanting to get into it. The other thread has gotten ridiculous enough as it is. I think this has not gone away for some people the same way other conspiracy's won't. Some people will always believe we did not land on the moon, some people will always believe the earth is flat, ect. People love conspiracy's, including me. There just has to come a point where you look at all the information available, and admit that he is a natural US citizen. For all of the threads, blogs and editorials, there has been nothing that a court has deemed relevant to look at, there is nothing that gave the Federal Election Commission pause, and there is nothing that the Republican party has been able to find. This big of a cover-up just could not stay hidden for this long. |
