You say I don't know him,

when he dismissed the cabinet that got him elected

Frankly, he is not the one who scares me.

he is responsible for where we are so i do fear him.there will be more illeagl vote scamming/graveyards voting, going on then the whole of history once chicago kicks in

I don't think that is fair

I meant I do not think it is a fair assessment of someone who is a pacifist, conscientious objector or a non-combatant. We each have to do what we think is right.

So a pacifist is someone that does not believe in stealing land from Indians through violence?

I was agreeing with you.

I think this is a common feeling, but I'm not buying it. For one thing, it takes years for decisions made at that level to show their results, and for another, I think God would claim responsibility for "where we are."

I'm still having a little trouble getting my mind all the way around this,
but sparring with Timmy about Pharoah, and God's claims in Genesis, claiming stuff that no one would necessarily want to claim (in this case,
"I, God, hardened Pharoah's heart") dimly show me that like Pharoah, Obama might be "responsible," (although due to timing I'd more likely put our present stuff on Bush) but to God, the POV that really matters, we delude ourselves with this kind of thinking, as easy as it is; Obama represents US, all of us, in this weird way that I think would cause God to say, "Uh, no; I did that, and I AM doing the next thing, too--vote for whoever you want, quack, I AM laughing at your temporal efforts to do good."

Good luck making sense of that :lol

And so a conscientious Christian is to get involved in this (fear-producing) system how, again? You are about to suggest, at best, some compromise; some "lesser of two evils" that, I'm sorry (not), but I am personally no longer in a position to have to contemplate.

One must do what they think best, however,
and I un-facetiously encourage anyone who
thinks that they can make a difference by voting
to do so. Ask yourself, "Who would Christ vote for?"
and BAM, follow that advice. That exact method is
what got me to here. Peace.

:lol touche'. Just for the record, I'd be the first one at the recruiting office to volunteer, as a C.O.--I can scrub toilets--if the French ever invade.
